Abstract :
In this paper we describe the video syntactic coding principles based on picture sequence set-theoretical presentation using the picture visual perception features. The syntactic coding provides a low data video presentation which is generally visual lossless for the human eye. The syntactic coding algorithm includes an estimation of the visual perception threshold, analysis of picture parameters, classification (clustering) of the picture detail set and detail parameters control for visual lossless picture data reduction based on video stream adaptive processing. The saved bit volume can be targeted to optimal adaptive picture quality enhancement up to natural visibility creation or for higher video data compression. The received experimental results are discussed.
