Abstract :
The paper explores the differences between the English and Chinese languages through the theories of Contrastive Linguistics and also points out the characteristics of EST. English-Chinese translation skills of attributive clauses are discussed through examples and the impact of the differences of the two languages on the translation of EST writing is shown.
