Abstract :
This paper suggests a system dynamics model for the technological forecasting of automotive in-car navigation market. A holistic and dynamic method based upon system dynamics simulation modeling, is described for the forecasting of in-car navigation demand in the automobile industry, which considers the impact of potential adopters, vehicle demand, navigation price, speed camera, and speed fine. The result suggests that the demand of navigation devices increases in proportion to the number of fixed speed cameras.
