Abstract :
This paper aims to suggest a desirable reform measure for problems of ldquosecurity deposit system on empty container in Koreardquo which means an amount in the price of the goods (hereinafter referred to as ldquosecurity deposit on empty containerrdquo) in addition to the factory price or import price of the goods to facilitate the collection and reuse of containers used for the goods. To derive a desirable reform measure from problems of ldquosecurity deposit system on empty container in Koreardquo, the present state of ldquosecurity deposit system on empty container in Koreardquo is introduced at first, and then gap between reality and provisions of laws and ordinances is introduced. This paper is written by both normative approach and legal sociology approach to improve reform measure for problems of ldquosecurity deposit system on empty container in Koreardquo. And, this paper also suggests an importance of a positive attitude of the people as conscious consumers to claim their rights which are included in ldquosecurity deposit on empty containerrdquo.
