Abstract :
Charge carrier transport in mixed metal oxides (AB2O4), which are low-mobility semiconductors, has been the subject of many experimental and theoretical studies during the past few decades and several other workers have reported structural, electrical and magnetic properties of such compounds. We report experimental data on the electrical conductivity, thermoelectric coefficient, infrared absorption, reflectance spectra and X-ray diffraction measurements of (a) Zn1-xCuxAl2O4 and (b) Zn1-xCuxCr2Se4 systems.
