  • Abstract
This paper introduces a design methodology for a current-reuse wideband CMOS low noise amplifier (LNA). A theoretic analysis of source degeneration current-reuse CMOS LNAs is presented. The advantages and limitations of wideband amplification using this kind of LNA are analyzed. The theoretical results are validated through comparison to simulations using BSIM3v3 models of a 0.81 um CMOS process. A design methodology is described through an example LNA that targets the band 2GHz-6GHz.
