Abstract :
As a novel kind of course mode, comprehensive practice courses are designed to meet the requirements for applied talent training. This paper holds that industry-university cooperation should be adopted to improve comprehensive practice courses. Then how to achieve this? Based on past experiences, this paper presents their combination patterns and points for attention, as well as a novel course mode: Mechanical Engineering Technology Comprehensive Practice (METCP). METCP is based on projects from enterprise. It can be executed by means of industry-university combination labs or practice bases, which are similar with real working conditions of enterprises. The cultivating purpose is to make student acquire the following qualities: organization and execution of work, independent study, communication and co-operation, independence and responsibility, ability to cope with pressure. It is shown that designing and developing comprehensive practice course with industry-university cooperation is able to provide necessary software and hardware supports for courses´ smooth implementation, realization of cultivating purpose and sustainable progress.
