On the Teaching Methods of College Basketball Playing Classes

Basketball game is one of college students´ favorite sports items and the main course in college PE teaching. However, during the college PE teaching reform process, the weaknesses existing in the traditional teaching ideas and teaching ways are continually appearing. Through literature review, expert interview and logic analysis, according to the present development of basketball discipline and college students´ characteristics, the article makes a study on different basketball teaching methods and tries to form systematic ways, in hope to improve basketball teaching efficiency. It also helps to make college basketball teaching fit the quality education and the lifelong education better, improve students´ overall quality and respect their main role. In this way, basketball game can really become one course that is very welcomed by students and is good for their physical and mental development and contributes to the talent training in the new century.
