  • Abstract
    The human visual system is an axis of research enough promoter that aims the exploitation of features of the human vision and its limitations in order to optimise image processing. This discipline would be our starting point in this paper where we are going to study features of this system and to enumerate works done in this meaning and being connected to the image watermarking field, thereafter, we will present our developed approach based jointly on the image variance and its entropy. An assessment of this approach and a comparison between the watermarked image without mask and that using the proposed mask shows the interest of our proposition. A quantitative assessment in term of PSNR and average quadratic error will follow this assessment in order to illustrate these subjects.
