Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to study the operational competitiveness of Chinese aeronautics and astronautics manufacturing companies (CAAMC) by analyzing the case CAAMC in a global manufacturing strategies (GMSS) database. Analytical models are used to analyze the operational competitiveness of the case CAAMC based on the weights of the multi-criteria manufacturing strategies. The results show quality value of the case Chinese astronautics manufacturing company (CASMC) is higher than the case Chinese aeronautics manufacturing company´s, but customer focus value of the case Chinese aeronautics manufacturing company (CAEMC) is higher than the case CASMC´s. The ranking of operational competitiveness implies CASMC has stronger competitiveness than CAEMC in prospector group.
