Abstract :
In this paper, we propose a modified parallel interference cancellation (PIC) approach for MC-CDMA systems. Compared with conventional PIC, modified PIC can improve BER performance at lower number of subchannels in both downlink and uplink channels and has the same performance as conventional PIC when the number of subchannels is sufficiently large. Modified PIC also has reduced implementation complexity in the uplink scenarios.
