  • Abstract
    Since the introduction of VRLA batteries in 1987, NTT Facilities has made improvements in the efficiency of battery maintenance by developing and introducing a battery management system and various maintenance tools based on our abundant maintenance experiences in the field. This paper describes the further improvement of the battery management method based on an analysis of not only a newly found phenomena in VRLA, but also the field data to improve the maintenance efficiency and management accuracy.
