Abstract :
The pulse phenomena are clearly observed by the proposed pulse diagnosis system. The input equipment is designed from two portions, i.e. One is using the condenser microphone to get the pulse wave and the other is using pressure transducer to get the pressure against the skin when the microphone is pressed. The input waves are analyzed using the graphical expression and the derivative method, and the subjective descriptions in the traditional Chinese medicine are translated into the fuzzy inferences, and diagnosis is automatically proceeded.
