Abstract :
A circuit able to protect electronic devices by overvoltages is proposed. A comparison among existing protection devices is discussed, pointing out the advantages of our system to satisfy specific requirements. Some measurements have been effected to verify the device´s performances. An example of the use of this system in Perceived Power Quality instrument is proposed.
