Message from the Steering Co-Chairs

The technical program includes 118 contributed papers, 3 distinguished keynote speakers and a notable panel, 24 workshops with 300+ papers, and 24 PhD student posters, but these numbers cannot describe all of the activity that IPDPS provides. All technical sessions offer an opportunity to interact with speakers and authors, and the 24 workshops each provide a full day of presentations and discussion on a special topic. If you are feeling ambitious on one of the workshop days, you can visit all twelve workshops to observe the level of dialogue and the diversity of topics being covered. On Thursday, you will have all day to visit the posters on display as part of the PhD Forum and to preview upcoming developments in parallel and distributed processing and related technologies. We are grateful to the technical chairs and compliment them on the development of a superb program for IPDPS 2012.
