Abstract
Healthcare industry is related to human\´s life. Any medical mistakes may cause irremediable regret. So "Patient safety" becomes the most important issue in hospitals. The research expresses an empirical case study by developing a RFID patient safety system with LBMS, and the experience of implementation in TMUH which is an indicator hospital in Taiwan. We point out how to integrate RFID information system to effectively promote patient safety in hospital. And we evaluate the benefit to implement RFID how to cost-down and value-added in hospital measured by quantitative and qualitative methodology. The research result can be referred to other hospitals, RFID service providers, and related academics
