Abstract :
This paper proposes a novel two switch forward converter with two transformers and LLC circuit. The new topology is a combination of traditional dual switch forward converter and half bridge LLC resonance converter. It retains the main advantage of two switch forward converter, such as high reliability without shoot-through issues. It also allows the switches to operate with low voltage switching by LLC resonance so that it achieves many other advantages.
