Abstract
This paper presents analysis of the steady state characteristics of an average current mode boost active power factor corrector (APFC) with no line voltage sensing. Expressions for APFC´s steady state trans-conduction, output resistance and power gain performance indexes are derived. The theoretical predictions are well supported by simulation and experimental results.
