Abstract
In this paper, we develop an innovative method to analysis a system in a view of observability and reliability considerations. This method simplifies the previous ones. Our method can easily work with multi-linear systems. After reminding some considerations on observability, we explain the cost and reliability criterions we use. We show how to work with these two criterions simultaneously. At last, we make reference to a metallurgical plant in order to make a practical application. Simulation results show the efficiency and consistency of the proposed methodology.
