Abstract
This work aims the investigation of radio link performance of the 3GPP LTE in terms of the bit- and block error rate, assuming different error models for the feedback of the channel state information and the precoding matrix indicator. For the former, the imperfect knowledge of the radio channel is assumed within the receiver according to a Gaussian error model and the deficiencies of the frequency-domain interpolation of the radio channel. Investigations have been performed within a realistic simulation environment based on the 3GPP LTE link level technical specification.
