Abstract :
In this paper, we propose a 1.5 V analog current-mode median filter based on sorting network, and implement it by 1.5 V current-mode maximum and minimum selectors. The proposed circuits have two characteristics - regularity and modularity, so they can be easily expanded to meet the requirements of different applications. Moreover, we design a nine-input median filter to verify the proposed circuit, and simulation results show that the proposed circuit can achieve low voltage, high speed and high accuracy. To develop further, we can incorporate the proposed filter directly with smart sensors.
