Abstract :
This work describes a noise tolerant algorithm for active power filters based on id-iq method. The paper explains why conventional techniques are sensitive to noise and it shows where the vulnerability is located. Then, the modified strategy for the conventional id-iq method is described and simulation results are presented to compare the two techniques. Experimental results for a series active filter are also shown.
