Abstract :
This paper presents a basic concept of cooperation and evolution of scheduling systems with Genetic Algorithms. In our previous work, we proposed the evolving CIM system which uses multi-agent model and autonomous parameter tuning. The proposed system was applied to a two-agent problem which contains the jobshop scheduling problem and the transportation problem. In this paper, we applied the three-agent problem by adding the distribution problem agent which distributes the resources of JSP and TP to show that this system can cooperate with others. Each agent considers the conditions of the other two agents and solves the dilemma to respond to the demand of others by means of interactions with the environment. The results show that the proposed system has a high potential for the CIM
