Abstract
This paper presents the properties and the definition of Hopfield neural networks as a natural extension to complex Hopfield neural networks and quaternionic Hopfield neural networks. This extension allows us to generalize the concept of Hopfield neural networks to all type of algebras and also to describe the main characteristics of this networks.
