Launching DAB: a BBC perspective

It is highly appropriate that a year which marks the centenary of Marconi´s first successful radio experiments should also mark the start of another very significant step in the history of broadcasting, the launch of the BBC´s introductory DAB service and of pre-operational services in other European countries.
