Abstract :
An approach to the monopulse estimation with digital adaptive beam forming (DBF) is researched here. This paper extends orthogonal projections (OP) to the monopulse DBF. In monopulse DBF, by ignoring the target signal included in the received data, the proposed method based on OP can efficiently solve mismatch problem between target signal direction and array specified direction, thus make the sum beam direct at specified direction correctly and difference beam have no zero point shifted. In the method proposed in this paper way to settle the calculation cost problem caused by eigendecomposition of OP is also given. Simulation results verify the validity of the algorithm.
