Abstract
The engineering construction standard has covered the whole life cycle of construction projects. The application of the standard has brought every participant immense economic benefits. However, systemic researches on relationships between construction standard and its benefit are rarely seen by now. This paper will discuss, from the period, quality, and cost, the economic benefits that the engineering construction standard brings, and finally give some suggestions on the future development of the engineering construction standard.
