Abstract :
Based on digital signal processing theory, a simple method of designing optical interleavers is proposed for all fiber unbalanced Mach-Zehnder interferometer with fiber ring coupled structure. The results of designing examples with different structure are presented and compared. At last, the theory of designing random duty cycle interleaver is analyzed and the design instances of three different duty cycles are given for the interleaver with the same structure.
