Abstract
In this paper, finite-element technique is used to obtain the sensitivity of transient temperature distribution of cast-resin dry type transformer to several parameters. This study depends on solution of mathematical model of transformer from thermal stand point. The selected parameters include the time constant of the parts of transformer, the variation of ambient temperature, switching on fans, and the velocity of air. The results indicate the effects of the variations of the parameters on the performance of transformer.
