Abstract
Remote laboratories are traditionally being used to provide access and to augment and enhance existing traditional pedagogical models in an online environment. This paper proposes a generalized methodology to build a class of learning games for remote labs. The methodology relies on successive rounds of problem posing and problem solving. A case study in chemical engineering is used to illustrate the methodology.
