Abstract
Sensibility of the standard GPS receivers to multipath and interference is one of the main drawbacks to use GPS in high accuracy and availability applications, such as landing systems. Array processing is one of the best mitigation techniques, already used in other CDMA communication systems. RF beamforming leads in GPS receivers to complex and expensive systems. The appearance of commercial chipsets to develop GPS personalized applications allows a different approach. A GPS receiver using base-band real time array processing has been implemented. Its performance with different adaptive algorithms to control the weights applied to the different elements has been tested
