Abstract :
In this paper we model the global routing of 2-pin nets around a universal FPGA switch box with k sides and W tracks per side as a collection of 2-bounded subsets of {1,...,k} such that every i∈{1,...,k} is contained in exactly W sets of the collection. We show a decomposition property of this new combinatorial structure and illustrate its application to the universal switch box design
