  • Abstract
The aim of this paper is to optimize the scheduling of the transport equipment of a supply chain under the just-in-time setting. A genetic algorithm for the batches delivery scheduling problem is developed to find the optimal sequence of shipments. The due goods have to be transported from a supplier to a final customer according to a predefined set of due dates while the loading capacities of these transport equipments are assumed to be limited.
