Abstract
The Echo Mapper AUV, based on a Bluefin 21 vehicle integrated with a full suite of swath sonar mapping systems, is now being used for commercial surveys. The small size of this vehicle enables it to be easily transported by air to remote locations for small projects where it can be easily mobilized onto local vessels-of-opportunity.
