Abstract
Someone said: "if teachers are the brain of university, the library is the heart of it." These words displays the importance of a library. We want to induct Customer Relationship Management (CRM) into library management by data mining because there are numerous resources in library as well as many of them are not fully utilized. Our method is to find out around 100,000 users\´ using circulation history by data mining, to understand readers\´ requirements and help managers in library resources distribution. We choose National Taichung institute of technology (NTIT) as an example to discuss library resources using conditions. According to the results, we find out some phenomena. These are very important to the libraries\´ managements in the future. In addition, we can use the same data mining skill in different libraries even enterprises to make resources usage effectively.
