Abstract

This paper investigates the integration strategies for logistics service provider (LSP) and supply chain (SC). Firstly, we analyze the existing issues of supply chain integration and the research on third party logistics (3PL) as well as fourth party logistics (4PL). Secondly, we propose the integration strategies from logistics activities integration and information integration respectively. From the information technology (IT) point of view, we present the measures for LSP to integrate supplier, manufacturer and wholesaler in SC. On the basis of this, we investigate the information exchange mode, logistics activities integration and coordination, as well as the implementation methods of supply chain integration based on information and logistics activities
