The evaluation and comparative analysis on the capacity of strengthening province through S&T based on factor analysis

In the era of knowledge economy, Strengthening province through S&T(SPST) is the goal pursuit by provinces and the basis for building an innovative country. This paper established the evaluation index system of SPST from 4 aspects including 11 indexes and used the factor analysis method to evaluate and compare the SPST capacity of domestic 30 provinces. The results shows that it have significant difference in capacity of SPST, strength of SPST play the key role which base on S&T effect and performance.
