Abstract :
There are a lot of uncertainty risk factors in the design of highway asphalt concrete pavement. The design is affected not only by the various uncertain factors of the design phase, such as reliability, and pavement construction, but also of using stage, such as vehicle overloading etc. Being traditional pavement design theory not availably considering the uncertain risk factors, so it is resulted the quality risk of asphalt concrete pavement design. A large number of cases of early damage of asphalt pavement, by the uncertainty risk factors, is the exemplification. On the basis of the risk characteristics of the asphalt concrete pavement design and the risk management theory, the paper has put forward the early risk warning system in the design of highway asphalt concrete pavement, and has structured the early warning index system. And then, studied and proposed the risk warning threshold and the warning limit of the asphalt concrete pavement design. Based on extension theory, established the early risk warning model of the asphalt concrete pavement design, and illustrated the specific application of the model. Finally, briefly introduce the early risk warning computer system. With the early risk warning system, the risk warning state of particular design can be evaluated overall and systematically. So, according to the warning state of design quality risk, it is able to guide the designers to modify or redesign, as well as optimizate the original design results. By this procedure, it is realized to improve the existing design theory and reduce the quality risk of asphalt concrete pavement design.
