  • Abstract
    This paper describes the developments which are leading to the data superhighway. The paper looks at how the superhighway is being used by commerce and could be used by public transport interests. In discussing the foundation of the superhighway and data exchange, the paper concludes that those concerned with public transport need to be active and take a strategic view to stay alongside the leaders in the superhighway age
