Abstract
At highest level of precision most standard resistors show anomalies in their resistance value if they are exposed to changes in ambient temperature, i.e. the resistance depends hysteretically on temperature. This hysteretical behaviour was found not to be random but reproducible. We report on experimental results showing this effect and outline a possible physical explanation.
