Abstract :
This paper examines the optimized allocation of a fixed transmitter power budget among several transmitter diversity paths that are correlated and/or of dissimilar strengths. Under these conditions, algorithms for optimum allocation differ significantly from conventional transmitter diversity and provide better performance. Simplified algorithms with negligible performance loss are also presented
