Abstract :
The paper shows how to describe the semantics of domain-specific enterprise and information system (IS) modelling languages using the Unified Enterprise Modelling Language (UEML). The approach is illustrated with a fragment of a domain-specific modelling language based on the new ISO 15926 standard for data integration, sharing and hand-over between computer systems. The aim is to ensure that the semantics of new domain-specific languages (DSLs) can be quickly, easily and precisely defined in relation both to one another and to existing general-purpose languages.
