Inventory Risk Management of China´s Manufacturing Enterprises - A Study Based on a Single-Period VaR Risk Measurement Model

By using a single-period VaR risk measurement model in the risk management of manufacturing enterprises¿Cthe author of this article analyzed the influence of inventory risk on the performance of enterprises . Under the guidance of VaR model, and through studies on the impact of unit holding costs¿Cunit ordering cost and unit shortage cost¿Cand with managers´ risk appetite, the author quantitatively analyzed enterprises inventory risk, and discovered that VaR risk measurement model is of operability and applicability in practical applications.
