Abstract :
A new technique for performing feature recognition on CAD model using the principles of neural network is discussed. This paper proposes a novel algorithm and an effectual network architecture for recognition. Compared with the conventional schemes, the proposed technique has a more general and flexible formulation of the problem and provides a solution more suitable for parallel implementation. Sample examples are presented to demonstrate the potential of the approach.
