Abstract
Use of the wavelet transform to reduce noise and enhance the appearance of individual wave structure in a synthetic aperture radar (SAR) image of the ocean surface is examined. Results are shown for images generated by aircraft (ERIM) and spacecraft (SIR-B) based radars
