Abstract :
Non-Hopfield approach to neuron network (NN) development is proposed based on results of the peripheral visual system neuron structure analysis. A 4-layered NN is described for real scene image processing and texture boundary extraction. The proposed NN corresponds to the lateral geniculate nucleus (LGN) level of a cat visual system.
