Interference monitoring [railways]

This paper discusses the EMC problem faced with the introduction of new railway traction technology and focuses on the safety aspects of electrical interference with signalling equipment. Although achieving compatibility can be difficult this paper poses solutions which can solve the problem of compatibility between new traction technology and existing signalling systems.
