Abstract
Pacific Bell´s strategic imperatives for the integrated services digital network (ISDN), including various aspects of pricing and deployment relative to known demand, Pacific Bell´s center integrated systems tariff, and Pacific Bell´s strategies for widespread deployment of ISDN, are discussed. It is concluded that to successfully develop and deploy ISDN service providers must always remain cognizant of such factors as price/cost, the ability to network, and the ability to interwork ISDN to non-ISDN devices and services
