Abstract
Recently, Chinese government pays more attention to rural housing construction, and at same time, bring forward the policy of energy saving and renewable energy usage in the buildings. The application of the solar techniques has become a major trend for the energy efficiency of rural housing. Among these, passive solar houses have been popular because of low-price, easy operation. There are three kinds of passive solar heat collecting approaches: direct gain, attached sunroom, and collecting and storing heat wall. According to the investigation to the rural housing in chill region of China, this paper puts forward a kind of passive solar house with the technology of "direct gain"+ "attached sunroom" which are suitable for local condition through analyzing integrate performance such as the efficiency of heat collection, energy saving, cost, manoeuvrability and so on. It meets the demands of sustainable development and possesses value of spreading.
