Abstract :
This paper describes an optical fiber transmission system to transmit a pair of optical wavelength-division-multiplexed (WDM) signals at 570 nm and 660 nm, without the use of expensive optical couplers, from an electrical-to-optical (E/O) conversion assembly to an optical-to-electrical (O/E) conversion assembly through an optical fiber, eliminating the crosstalk between optical signals at 570 nm and 660 nm by the use of a crosstalk elimination circuit. The proposed system was experimentally applied to transmit data of temperature and vibration sensors to the monitoring console, and the experiment was successful
